Ryan at City Mazda's Used Car Division,, was introduced to us through an agency partner in Halifax, NS.

Our agency partner was responsible for creating a website that showcased used cars while capturing leads of people interested in acquiring financing for used vehicles.

It was our responsibility to work closely with our agency partner and the client to create a solution to increase visibility and leads from organic traffic sources in this competitive industry.


While City Mazda is one of Halifax's leading car dealerships, the new brand and website for was only just launched.

Combining the infancy of the website with the highly competitive industry of used car dealerships, and we had our hands full trying to develop a solution that provided a positive return on investment with long-term benefits.


Given the extremely competitive local market for used car dealerships in Halifax (especially within the search engines) we had to take a unique approach and focus primarily on searchers looking for vehicles that had bad or no credit. This would allow us to target keywords that had lower competition but still could drive high quality and targeted traffic.

We had to build domain authority and relevance within both the local market and used car industry while best targeting these highly relevant keywords.

This was done with proper on-page optimization and local and industry link acquisition and citation building.


We have worked with for under a year and have generated great results so far within the bad or no credit car loan industry in Halifax, NS.

Traffic continues to trend upward while organic traffic generates high quality conversions every week.

Organic keyword rankings continue to improve month over month with average trends increasing.

Next steps in the campaign will include additional content creation to support and target the higher volume and more competitive search terms including "used car dealerships"
